This past week was all over the place. This week is, too, and it's barely even half over yet. This is ridiculous. Well, we pushed our offer for $210,000 for a lovely condo in Warwick that was listed for $229,000 but needed some work. The real estate agent representing the sellers was Maribel Rossiter, the Rossiter twins' mother. My mom and her mom apparently have a history. (No, sicko, get your mind out of the gutter.) Well, anyway, they surprisingly accepted the $210,000 push. However, today we're informed that on Sunday they're having an open house. That's bad. For three hours, anyone interested may tour the house in question, and may place offers. If theirs is higher than ours, the house is now theirs. If no one makes a higher offer by open house, then the home is ours. A very close friend this past weekend had something horrible happen to them, and they're still coping, and probably will for a while. My allergies are RIDICULOUS! Today Dr. Barone prescribed Singulair, which apparently carries the side effect of suicidal tendencies. Great, huh? I'm off to a FANTASTIC start. To speak strictly metaphorically about something that happened today, the proverbial door was pried open today, and the big fat ugly four eyed monster (that's SOMETIMES green) was nowhere to be found. Which is actually a very good thing, but you see, I'm not sure I've outgrown the habit of closing said door. I'd really like to say I am. I just don't know yet. I have a friend I need to speak with about that...it's nice to know someone's there. To that person - remember - if you need me at all in the coming days, any time, just give me a holler. (I sent those songs to you, btw.) Okay, enough secret messages for one day.. This song is beckoning my departure...ick. =[

Teenage Wasteland
School's getting wayyy too dramatic on the cusp of formal, which, to me, isn't a huge event. This is just how I see it, but we'll have well more important events coming up. No need to make such an unnecessary fuss over frosh formal. A lot of odd things are happening, a lot of people are hurt every day, and I see at least one or two people crying everyday because either someone won't ask them to formal, or they were denied. Yeah, it's upsetting, but the way I see it, there's nothing wrong with you, so just pick your head up and keep on going. Don't let anything ruin this wonderful year that has been. (When I say I see one to two people crying, I mean outside of the usual three or four drama queens.) But I'm just very lax with all of this. Formal is coming up, obviously, and I was asked....ASKED? Since WHEN do GIRLS do the asking? I've seen it this year, unfortunately I'm obliged not to give names. I was asked twice. Sure, it's not easy saying no. Actually, one of them I offered going as friends. I don't think they took it too well. And I know of one other that would like to go with me. But I can't keep all this school drama on my mind. You know why? I'm moving. That's why I've been blogging so infrequently lately. Between the end-of-year crunch, home searching, and the fact that I do indeed have a social life, I simply haven't had the time I need for blogging. It might be like this until the end of June. Maybe even after that. My parents agreed on a home that ironically enough Katie and Lauren Rossiter's mom Maribel is representing. It needs work, but it's nothing crazy. The price isn't at all bad at $229,000. It's a steal, really, but only because the housing market is quite a mess at the moment. Real estate agents my mother knows are giving another 8 months before the market hits rock bottom. That's around Christmas. That's sad. In other news, my parents almost bought another dog yesterday. I think we were going to name her Shelley or something. She is a shih-tzu. We didn't get her, but once we settle in this new house, we will most definitely get one, hopefully before I'm off to college. Well, I need to split. Again, nothing about my spring break, but it really was awesome. I'll write eventually. Oh, yeah, I went to the galleria and the palisades these last two days. My luck? "That girl" was at both places. Some of you will know what I'm talking about. Do you mind not telling people? I'd appreciate.

Oh Frabjous Day!
This is rediculous. I'm sorry for having such infrequent posts. Too
much is going on at the moment. Ihave the troubles of moving, worrying
about things a kid my ageshould not have to worry about, and looking
through stacks of paperwork. If there is anything I hate more than my
ex-imaginary friend Hal, its a routine. Having the same order of
classes in a day drives me insane enough. I like spontaneousness.
Today I went to school, came home, did hw, watched half an episode of
the office (GASP), more than I've seen in two weeks combined, studied,
made some jumbalaya with perogies and then cornbread, took a shower,
and here I am, with one restroom stop, not even kidding. I'm laying in
bed right now relaxing for the first time today. This stress is
overwhelming. Too much is going on at the moment, and my parents seem
to me in quite an irrational state of mind lately. Jesus Christ (now I
need to go to confession for that and cursing under my breath far too
many times)! I'm so tired of this. The source of my relief at the
moment is Counting Crows's new album and a breeze coming in from my
window, but not for long. I'll be out of this house soon. So much more
to say but my fingers are cramping and my eyes shutting. Night.
Today for you, tomorrow for me, baby, I promise.

Lonely As You!
The swells done. This week has finally turned into a somewhat reasonable one. So how are y'all? I had quite an excellent week. I'm sick of being stuck at home, I miss hanging out with my friends. Soon, people. Especially you. Sorry Christian, I don't mean to tell you I can't hang like 3 times in one week. Really. As soon as I'm free, we'll bowl or somethin'. Oh, yeah, and Michelle, we will too, so I can school you at GH3. Ohh yeahhh, meanwhile, buck up, my friend.

Here it comes to wash away the sins of you and I
I spent nearly all day in the hospital, making sure I was there for my mother who was getting a cholcystectomy done today. (For those of you that don't know, that means gallbladder removal.) You see, she had many polyps (sorta like a tumor, but benign.) Usually, the doctor just asks you to come in for check-ups every six months or so to keep an eye on them and their possible malignancy. Well, my mom's doctor recommended removing her gallbladder, as she has too many polyps to accurately keep track of. She agreed, and they performed the procedure around noon. (I had gotten to the hospital around 9:50 for admission and such.) Since my mom also happens to work at this same hospital, an innumerable amount of co-workers came to wish her well, and an innumerable amount of co-workers confused her for my mother (including the doctor, that said -Sorry, something interrupted me. I might finish this later.

One Must Die For Another to Live
An adapted, rewritten 'sermon.' Completely true.
Today is the day where we remember the day Jesus was condemned to death, and died for our sins. I have a story of my own I'd like to tell. Quite some time ago, when I was but a little munchkin I spent countless days with my uncle, Tony, who lived in Manhattan. I loved him like no other. He always knew how to make me smile. When I went to his house he kept me entertained with games, usually the board game 'Sorry!' He was the only adult then I knew that really made me feel comparable to him, a large adult. He was a devoted minister to the Catholic church, one of two in this family. He worked at a nearby church, and everyday from 6-8 in the evening, he could be found in his office preparing homilies and such. He was very studious. He was loved by many. One day around his 43rd birthday, he was diagnosed of a fatal disease of the liver. (I don't recall exactly what.) I remember the doctor telling him he had but 30 days. I also remember numerous friends and family members visiting him, bringing with them an aura of last respects. They were apalled to see his bright and shiny face, with a grin from ear to ear. Never have I ever met a more positive man than him. He cooked huge feasts for all that came. He usually gave gifts to all that came, and whenever they brought up his illness, he'd say, "What good has dwelling on negative thoughts ever brought you?" He stayed with a smile on his face. This man was ready to die. He was ready to give in to life. On this Good Friday, I've just realized why. He had already died. As Jesus had commanded his followers, the apostles, he had given his soul to the Lord, Jesus Christ. This is true to life today. Just think, that beefy hamburger you bit into, or that filet you munched on both came from something living. Vegetarians don't scoff at me. That celery stick was killed, too. This always has, and always will stand true for the rest of eternity. Chicken does not come from a grocery store wrapped in a plastic shrinkwrap. The spirit of the Lord and the religion of Christianity still lives due to those that have already died. They give all of their lives towards helping others, and serving Jesus. Thanks to them, many have faith. He was ready to die, which brings me to my title...
Amen.

I'm on the road to shambala
Well, I duess I just don't quite know what to say for this one....umm...hey there, long time no see. Things have been hectic, VERY hectic lately. No, not my social life. That's actually been remarkably fine for a while now. Kerianne + Ryan, the Rumor Mill, Lost, Moving, to name a few. At like 1:30AM this morning, I got a call from Meghan. Only it wasn't Meghan. It was her brother. Well I'm not much in the mood to post, but here's Meghan's Brother's wacky message below. Press play. You might want to pause the music above, first.
I made this music player at MyFlashFetish.com.

No.
Just a few more minutes before I get out, turn on my mom's car, and wait for that school bus. Just a rant, but it's amazing how some people in this world are blind. No, not physically, I mean that's an anomaly in itself. I mean mentally. There's a mental block. But this isn't just a mental block. It's a mental block followed by denial, obsession, and plain rudeness, not to mention a lack of understanding, moreover a refusal. I'm still waiting for that birthday present. -Not in a good mood today. Sorry!
