Lonely As You!

The swells done. This week has finally turned into a somewhat reasonable one. So how are y'all? I had quite an excellent week. I'm sick of being stuck at home, I miss hanging out with my friends. Soon, people. Especially you. Sorry Christian, I don't mean to tell you I can't hang like 3 times in one week. Really. As soon as I'm free, we'll bowl or somethin'. Oh, yeah, and Michelle, we will too, so I can school you at GH3. Ohh yeahhh, meanwhile, buck up, my friend.

-When you walk by, yeah, I'm lookin' at you sweetie.-
Don't mind the random thoughts separating...uhhh...thoughts. I'd rather treat this as my journal, than be literarily-correct by using paragraphs and such. Maybe those thoughts actually apply to something true in my life. Hint: They most likely do. But what could they imply? Nothing, I promise.
-'Cuz I'm just wonderin' what's going on, hoping that I'm not the only one.-
So I'm sitting here in my house cozily with Rocky on my lap, yawning, and once in a while farting, but it's all good. Friday Night Lights is on pause behind me, Lost will be on in a few. Ahaha, I'm like addicted to these TV shows. This new math is awesome. This week, nearly everything fell into place. All but two things, which reminds me...Chiara, Meghan, all my friends that read this, gimme a holler, please? Am I losing you guys? People? Anyone? I've made, well if I count, somewhere between 10-15 new good friends this year, which is really great, but you guys come first, always. One's on the border. I think he'll tip over soon, haha. Wellllll anywayy, we get to start swimming on Monday. I'm actually excited for this one, though today I descovered another passion. Tennis. I think I'll try the tennis team next year, IF AND ONLY IF I can get lessons from that guy. Yeah, he's scary, but he was the one that insisted I join the tennis team. How...interesting. Now even Ms. Matteson asked me. I pray to the good lord that word doesn't reach the real tennis coach, Filingeri. Last thing I need is her half-butchered French chasing after me. That, and I'll be taking French along with Spanish next year. I swear, I'll file a freakin' restraining order. Aucune madame, je ne sais pas comment jouer au tennis.
-With the windblown hair, colors of the sandy Santorini Gabriela but oh, so much more desirable.-
I feel like I say this all the time, but I realize more and more every day how my life revolves around music. I don't just listen to it, I come home, I play it, it's like, just...amazing. I write songs now, I'm just....alright, I'm shutting up now. I wanted to say I was messin around with chords today and I was able to make a pretty damned good "song." It was like 30 seconds long, so not much of a song. It's still cool though. My songs = my moods. Well I'm gonna go. I'll catch up with you guys later. Remember, Chiara, Meghan, any other friends that read this, holler out to me, please? Am I losing you? =\

Here it comes to wash away the sins of you and I

I spent nearly all day in the hospital, making sure I was there for my mother who was getting a cholcystectomy done today. (For those of you that don't know, that means gallbladder removal.) You see, she had many polyps (sorta like a tumor, but benign.) Usually, the doctor just asks you to come in for check-ups every six months or so to keep an eye on them and their possible malignancy. Well, my mom's doctor recommended removing her gallbladder, as she has too many polyps to accurately keep track of. She agreed, and they performed the procedure around noon. (I had gotten to the hospital around 9:50 for admission and such.) Since my mom also happens to work at this same hospital, an innumerable amount of co-workers came to wish her well, and an innumerable amount of co-workers confused her for my mother (including the doctor, that said -Sorry, something interrupted me. I might finish this later.

One Must Die For Another to Live

An adapted, rewritten 'sermon.' Completely true.

Today is the day where we remember the day Jesus was condemned to death, and died for our sins. I have a story of my own I'd like to tell. Quite some time ago, when I was but a little munchkin I spent countless days with my uncle, Tony, who lived in Manhattan. I loved him like no other. He always knew how to make me smile. When I went to his house he kept me entertained with games, usually the board game 'Sorry!' He was the only adult then I knew that really made me feel comparable to him, a large adult. He was a devoted minister to the Catholic church, one of two in this family. He worked at a nearby church, and everyday from 6-8 in the evening, he could be found in his office preparing homilies and such. He was very studious. He was loved by many. One day around his 43rd birthday, he was diagnosed of a fatal disease of the liver. (I don't recall exactly what.) I remember the doctor telling him he had but 30 days. I also remember numerous friends and family members visiting him, bringing with them an aura of last respects. They were apalled to see his bright and shiny face, with a grin from ear to ear. Never have I ever met a more positive man than him. He cooked huge feasts for all that came. He usually gave gifts to all that came, and whenever they brought up his illness, he'd say, "What good has dwelling on negative thoughts ever brought you?" He stayed with a smile on his face. This man was ready to die. He was ready to give in to life. On this Good Friday, I've just realized why. He had already died. As Jesus had commanded his followers, the apostles, he had given his soul to the Lord, Jesus Christ. This is true to life today. Just think, that beefy hamburger you bit into, or that filet you munched on both came from something living. Vegetarians don't scoff at me. That celery stick was killed, too. This always has, and always will stand true for the rest of eternity. Chicken does not come from a grocery store wrapped in a plastic shrinkwrap. The spirit of the Lord and the religion of Christianity still lives due to those that have already died. They give all of their lives towards helping others, and serving Jesus. Thanks to them, many have faith. He was ready to die, which brings me to my title...

Amen.

I'm on the road to shambala

Well, I duess I just don't quite know what to say for this one....umm...hey there, long time no see. Things have been hectic, VERY hectic lately. No, not my social life. That's actually been remarkably fine for a while now. Kerianne + Ryan, the Rumor Mill, Lost, Moving, to name a few. At like 1:30AM this morning, I got a call from Meghan. Only it wasn't Meghan. It was her brother. Well I'm not much in the mood to post, but here's Meghan's Brother's wacky message below. Press play. You might want to pause the music above, first.

No.

Just a few more minutes before I get out, turn on my mom's car, and wait for that school bus. Just a rant, but it's amazing how some people in this world are blind. No, not physically, I mean that's an anomaly in itself. I mean mentally. There's a mental block. But this isn't just a mental block. It's a mental block followed by denial, obsession, and plain rudeness, not to mention a lack of understanding, moreover a refusal. I'm still waiting for that birthday present. -Not in a good mood today. Sorry!
